30m M/Y - STEWARDESS/HOUSEKEEPER - PRIVATE - WHITSUNDAYS

Open to couple: Captain - Stewardess

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Sole Stewardess/Housekeeper (private house) to join a vessel, with a base in the Whitsundays, close by to the private residence. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability and the opportunity to work in a luxurious, serene environment. The ideal candidate will be highly discreet, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the vessel and residence, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising all areas to impeccable standards

• Manage laundry and ironing, ensuring all clothing and linens are handled with care

• Organise and maintain household supplies, pantries, and storage areas

• Oversee the upkeep of indoor and outdoor spaces, including coordinating with external service providers (ie gardeners or maintenance teams)

• Handle special projects or events, such as preparing for guests or family gatherings

Ensure the vessel and home operates smoothly and efficiently on a day-to-day basis

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar domestic role, preferably in high-end private residences or luxury hotels

• One year’s worth of experience on a superyacht

• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to anticipating needs

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment

Absolute integrity, trustworthiness, and a commitment to confidentiality – these are non-negotiable as you will be working closely with the family

Qualifications:

• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Driver’s license

• STCW10

ENG1 or AMSA Medical

Based full time in Whitsundays, the candidate must have their own accommodation/base locally as no accommodation provided onboard – it is a Monday – Friday role, leaving after work each day, unless there are guests onboard/in residence.

MUST have Australian working rights and have connections to the region.
