The Candidate Specification

We are seeking a confident, personable and experienced Bosun to join a well-run 70M+ private yacht with a single owner and family-focused programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-term operation with excellent crew retention, generous training opportunities, and a strong onboard culture.

Candidates must have solid tender driving ability, with yachtmaster in hand, as this is a very tender-heavy programme. You need Bosun experience has they have experienced deckhands on board.

This role suits someone who is proactive, fitness oriented, and enjoys being part of a close-knit crew environment. The yacht maintains high presentation standards, so candidates must be clean-cut, professional, and comfortable working in a polished private yacht setting.

The programme typically operates Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons, however winter plans are yet TBC. The yacht offers a supportive long-term environment with discretionary bonuses, annual salary reviews, and a very generous training structure for crew development.

Crew also benefit from onboard wellness facilities including a small crew gym equipped with a rowing machine, Peloton, squat rack, bench, and dumbbells.
