Job Description

Vessel Details:

• A 75m+ new-build motor yacht is currently recruiting for an experienced Deckhand to join the vessel on the 1st of December in Australia!

• The yacht is undertaking an extensive world-cruising programme, offering a varied operational environment onboard a pedigree-built motor yacht.

• This is an excellent opportunity for a Deckhand to gain further experience within a professional deck department, with a 3:1 rotation, competitive salary and an annual training allowance.

Position Overview:

• The Deckhand will be actively involved in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the yacht, including general deck duties, tender operations, water-sports and assisting with guest activities throughout the cruising programme.

• The yacht is particularly interested in candidates who can bring additional skills beyond their general deck experience, especially those with a background in fishing or diving.

• The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, hands-on and comfortable working within an established deck team, with a genuine interest in developing their skills and contributing to the wider operation.

Requirements:

• You must have approximately one to two years of previous yachting experience, ideally onboard a similar sized motor yacht.

• A Yachtmaster qualification is required, alongside at least one additional skill or qualification in fishing or diving.

• Salary: Competitive and DOE.

• Rotation: 3 months on/1 month off.

• An annual training allowance of up to $2,000 is available following successful completion of probation.

• Start date: 1st of December.
