The Candidate Specification
We are recruiting for a Deckhand to join a world-travelling yacht programme. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of deck experience and be confident across both tender driving and watersports operations. A Yachtmaster qualification is preferred, although candidates with strong tender driving experience will also be considered.
This is a heavily guest-facing position, so we are looking for someone who is neat, presentable and personable, with the confidence to interact naturally with guests. A strong understanding of watersports operations is essential, with additional skills such as drone piloting, DJing or carpentry considered advantageous.
The successful candidate should be looking to commit to the programme for at least one year. The role includes a training budget, annual review and discretionary annual bonus.
- Required experience: Minimum 1-2 years Deckhand experience, strong tender driving and watersports experience
- Qualification: Yachtmaster preferred; PWCI advantageous
- Required Visa: B1/B2 (essential)
