The Candidate Specification
We are recruiting for a Junior Stewardess to join a busy 78M private and charter yacht ahead of her crossing to the Caribbean in November. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 seasons of experience who is looking to continue developing within a mature and well-established interior team.
This is an all-round Stewardess position, with the successful candidate rotating across the interior departments and supporting wherever required. We are looking for someone who is flexible, hardworking and confident getting involved across housekeeping, laundry and service, with a strong eye for detail and a genuine willingness to learn.
The yacht has a professional and mature crew culture and would suit someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team rather than a party-focused environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work well with others will be particularly important.
The yacht will cross to the Caribbean in November for its first season in the region, which is expected to be relatively quiet with one charter currently booked. The Mediterranean programme is typically much busier, with back-to-back charters throughout the season, so candidates should be comfortable working at pace when required.
This is a strong opportunity for a Junior Stewardess looking to gain experience across all areas of the interior while joining a yacht offering 60 days' leave, full medical cover and a full share of charter tips.
- Required experience: 1-2 seasons' previous yachting experience
- Qualification: STCW, ENG1
- Required Visa: B1/B2 essential
- Due to Cabin arrangements: Female
