The Candidate Specification
We are recruiting for an experienced Lead Service Stewardess to join a prestigious 90M+ private motor yacht. The yacht is currently undergoing a shipyard period in Italy until March 2027, with plans for a Mediterranean summer and a potential Caribbean crossing later in the year.
The successful candidate will oversee the Owner's service department, leading a core team of four and additional service staff during busy guest periods. With no Chief Stewardess onboard, the interior is jointly managed by the Lead Service Stewardess and Lead Housekeeper, requiring excellent communication, teamwork and leadership.
We are looking for someone confident in all styles of service, including formal, silver, plated and buffet service, with exceptional table presentation and attention to detail. Strong wine knowledge, cocktail preparation and bar management skills are essential, alongside experience maintaining service standards, inventories and guest preferences.
This is a hands-on leadership position involving staff training, departmental administration and supporting maintenance periods. The ideal candidate will be organised, discreet and confident working with UHNW guests, with the ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining consistently high standards.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years' experience in a Lead Service position on larger yachts, with strong formal dining and event experience. Excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and a positive, solutions-focused approach are essential.

- Qualification: STCW, ENG1, Crowd Management & Crisis Management; WSET advantageous
