About the Role
Service is your domain. As a Service Engineer, you are the person who ensures that our yachts continue to function at the highest level, both at the customer and on location. We are looking for a Service Engineer who helps our customers worldwide to keep their yachts in perfect top condition.
As Service Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving our yachts, both on location at the customer and at our shipyard. You are the first point of contact for customers with service needs and ensure that every malfunction is resolved quickly and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on yachts, both on location and in the workshop
- Independently solve malfunctions in the mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
- Carry out installations and upgrades on yachts for customers worldwide
- Communicate with customers to understand and resolve their needs and problems
- Document your work and update the service history of the yachts
What We Offer
- Salary: Between €2,800 and €3,900 per month
- Work schedule: 218 days per year
- Contract: Annual contract with one month trial period, which we are happy to extend after completion
- Collective agreement: Stable and fair cao (Metalektro) and associated pension fund (PME)
- Training: We pay for your sailing certificates (KVB 1 & 2) so you can also be comfortable on the water
- Development: Unlimited access to the Wajer Academy so there is plenty of room for your personal development
Requirements
- MBO 3 or 4 qualification in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable field
- Experience with maintenance and service of yachts or comparable systems
- Meticulous and enjoys working with high-quality technology
- Fluent in English
- Willing to develop yourself and continuously improve your skills
Experience in the industry is a nice addition, but if you have other relevant knowledge, you are very welcome!
